It is every breeders dream. A healthy litter, good homes and you choose to keep the right dog...well okay, Carrick
picked us. But either way he was staying. I showed him a few times myself and we were in the points. I entered him
Memorial Day weekend in Bloomington and we
got all set to go..one problem I realized after I entered (and the reason that weekend looked wide open)
was because it was my daughter Alix's Bar Mitzvah weekend. There was no way that we could show a dog. I immediately
called Scott Kip who had done a ring side
pick up for groups for me a few weeks earlier (you know one of those shows where you need the points early and get
home for the older daughters prom...Carrick won the breed and I couldn't stay!) at any rate Scott and Carrick were
a team for the Bloomington shows. Right
from the start they were in there winning the group ribbons. Scott Kipp had been right sized! In 3.5 months of
showing, Carrick was listed as the #7 all systems IW and he finished the year holding on to #10. In 14 weeks of
showing or approximately 54 shows Carrick was BOB
49 times and had 10 Group ribbons (by comparison the #1 dog was shown for 52 weeks had 88 BOB's and 52 group
placements in 176 shows) Carrick was hot Nd Scott and Carrick were terrific as a team!
We cannot thank Scott and Susie Kipp enough for all their wonderful time and energy that they spent with Carrick.
They made him a family member and he was enjoyed by their two daughters as well. Scott and Sue are consumate
professionals in their trade.
