This past fall we showed on average about two weekends a month We were in Memphis Tn for a beautiful weekend where Paris won the open class one day and went reserve WD (whippets) We also showed 4 days in Marietta Ga in Giants and Whippets. It was Davis's first weekend she was shown by her owner and we had a great time. We did well in all the classes but unfortunately, while in the ribbons, we were not in the points

We could also be found this fall Priceville Al where we met up with long time friend and handler Carol Thordsen and had a wonderful time. Again the whippets were in the ribbons during the day and at night at the puppy match Bacall got a group 1 and Yvette our Giant Schnauzer pup got a Group 3! First time in the ring In addition JoJo made a rare ring appearance on Saturday

After that we spent the second half of Thanksgiving weekend spectating at the montgomery shows which for a change was alot of fun. Saturday evening we entered both P/S giant pups in the Puppy match and Tadashi at almost 3 months of age (okay we fibbed to enter her in the match) took a Group 2 having beaten out Yvette (sorry no cameras that day!)

two weeks later we attended Jackson Mississippi shows and caught up with Mia and Elizabeth whom we hadn't seen in a long time and of course we met up with Michelle and Herman and Schatzie and My BIGGIE boy. WE had a great weekend. Biggie took breed 2 of the three days he was shown, Mia took breed the day biggie did not and Schantzie won veterans and went on to get a Veteran Group 4!

In the evening there was a puppy match and again we entered Yvette and Tadashi this time Yvette won and went on to a group 3

So all in all when the holidays hit it was time to relax and just hang out. I got a new digital camera so I am hoping to take new photos soon as we have several litters planned for this spring and need to update our whelping box area. We recieved this xmas photo of Jamie Blue enjoying the holidays and one of Tadashi's dad also enjoying Santa's visit.

We also have Cowboy and Dudley here this weekend so new photos of past litter pups will also be appearing on their pages shortly.

As we begin another year here at Yashanti we want to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. A year of friendships old and new and a year of fun, relaxation and time to enjoy our families both 2 and 4 legged. Best wishes to everyone

July 5 Adieu won the Bred by Class then Winners Bitch and untimately Best of Winners earning her first points at the West Friendship shows in Howard County Maryland! YEAH ADIEU!

July 1st Yashanti's to Have or Have not AKA Bacall from our Demi/Jami FEB 07 littter won a Group 1 in the puppy match today at the Southern Maryland Dog Show cluster! She was beat out for Best Puppy in match by Millies beaufitul English Bulldog Pup (one she has offered on many occassions to trade for Bacall!) Sue Brewester tells me that she free baited, and stacked herself as if she had been born doing it, she loves to show apparently and it shows!
