Chai finished her championship uder judge Randy Garren going Best of Winners for her second 3 point major
at the 2005 Chambersburg Area Kennel Club show in Harrisburg, PA April 15th 2005, completely owner handled.
She had
a wonderful showing year winning BOS sweeps in Canfield and Best in Sweeps at the Central NJ Hound
Show last summer. Look for Chai in 2006 in the specials ring and also in Canada.
Chai is from the Starbuck's litter bred by Karen and Kalen Dumke of Nonsuch Whippets and Borzoi's (See
the whippet main page for the full story of Demi, Chai and our journey into whippets). There were 6
puppies in this litter and this summer both Cafe Sumatra and Breve also finished their titles. Tazo has
some impressive and major wins to his name and a Group 1 at the Louisville shows this past spring he only
needs his other major to finish. Demi (cafe Verona) is pointed and working towards her title. This was
a remarkable litter with a fantastic pedigree - 29 of 30 dogs are champions in one or more countries!
